Sold-out edition of ESNS brings industry, artists and audience together

The 37th edition of ESNS, the showcase festival and conference, has come to a close. Celebrating the return of a live event, ESNS23 (18 to 21 January) welcomed over 40,000 festival visitors and over 4,250 industry professionals from over 50 countries for a fully sold out festival and conference. The 38th edition of ESNS will take place from 17 to 20 January 2024.

ESNS opens sold-out 2023 edition

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) opens its 37th edition in Groningen today, Wednesday 18 January 2023. ESNS23 (18–21 January) marks the first in-person event since 2020 with a sold out Festival and Conference programme; presenting over 300 emerging European artists and 200 conference activities (from panels to network events and from workshops to mixers).

ESNS announce an exclusive keynote interview with Dugi & Dua Lipa
On 9, January 2023
Today Dua Lipa, along with her manager Dukagjin Lipa, announced they will join the ESNS conference lineup on January 21st. As co-founders of the acclaimed Sunny Hill Festival, the global pop superstar and her father will be joined by IQ Magazine editor Gordon Masson for a keynote interview as part the festival’s conference program in Groningen.

The MME Awards, the European Union music prize

On 19 January 2023, the winners of the 2023 Music Moves Europe Awards will be announced. Fifteen outstanding nominated artists are eligible for this year’s MME Awards, including the acclaimed Grand Jury Award, and the Public Choice Award. The ceremony will take place during ESNS. The MME Awards are a prize of the European Union, and has previously been known as EBBA and Music Moves Europe Talent Awards.
