ESNS expands line-up for 2021 edition

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) announces another 49 artists for the upcoming edition, taking place from 13 – 16 January 2021, including two of the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards nominees; Rimon (nl), Sassy 009 (no) and six acts selected in cooperation with European Broadcasting Union (EBU) radio stations.

ESNS confirms first acts for 2021 edition

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) reveals the first artists for its upcoming edition, taking place from January 13 – 16, 2021. The showcase festival will be fully digital for the first time and the sets will be streamed for free via the ESNS website, esns.nl, to continue its mission: promoting and circulating new European music. The first batch of acts for Eurosonic and Noorderslag includes a selection in cooperation with NPO 3FM and European national radio broadcasters united within the EBU (European Broadcasting Union), as well as nominees for the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards.

ESNS 2021; ESNS conference program taking shape with more speakers confirmed

Having already announced that conference and showcase festival ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) will be a fully digital edition in 2021, the conference program is now taking shape with more speakers and discussion topics announced. Taking place from 13 to 16 January 2021, the main focus of the 35th edition of ESNS will be moving forward and the ‘the road to recovery’ with key speakers.

ESNS 2021; Thirty-fifth edition of ESNS becomes fully digital

The conference and showcase festival ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) in Groningen will now be a fully digital edition in 2021. Given the current situation and government guidelines organizing a physical edition is no longer feasible. This means that the program of both the festival and the conference will be presented as a digital platform from 13 to 16 January 2021.

The conference and showcase festival ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) will go ahead as live as possible in 2021. Taking place in Groningen from 13 to 16 January 2021, ESNS is the key exchange and networking platform for European music, European artists, international music industry, production and interactive professionals, companies and organisations.
The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for the music sector have been disastrous. The worldwide shutdown of almost every live event means an unprecedented blow for everyone working in this sector.
