Besides offering match making sessions between bands and heavy music professionals, Buma ROCKS! will be presenting a number of showcases during the festival.

Eurosonic Noorderslag awarded best Dutch festival

From Wednesday 11 until Saturday 14 January Groningen hosted Eurosonic Noorderslag for the 31st time. The conference attracted 4.200 delegates from all over the world. Other numbers: 382 acts, 417 international festivals and over 40.300 festival visitors. Eurosonic Noorderslag was aired by radio and television stations from all over Europe, making it one of the biggest media-events in Europe. Eurosonic Noorderslag also got awarded as best festival by the VNPF, the Dutch association of venues and festivals.

Eurosonic Noorderslag Conference is now sold out
On 12, January 2017
The registrations for the Eurosonic Noorderslag Conference are sold out, tickets for the festival were sold out earlier this week. Eurosonic Noorderslag welcomes a new record of 4200 National and international guests. During daytime the delegates attend panels, keynote speeches, workshops, meetings and network. At night they go into the city of Groningen to check out the hot new acts from all over Europe.

Dua Lipa wins Public Choice Award
On 11, January 2017
The winners of the 2017 European Border Breakers Awards (the ‘EBBA’), the European music awards for emerging artists, were honoured this evening at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in the Dutch city of Groningen. Dua Lipa came out as the big winner of the evening, taking away the ‘Public Choice Award’ by an overwhelming amount of online voters.
