How do high-demand tours like U2, Ed Sheeran, and Hamilton ensure fans – as opposed to scalpers or bots – have the best access to tickets? It’s the responsibility of industry stakeholders – agents, managers, artists, promoters and the companies like Ticketmaster who support them – to ensure tickets are being sold to people who actually intend to use them. David Marcus, EVP and Head of Music for Ticketmaster North America, will take an in-depth look at the road to planning a sales campaign, from the economics of a tour to fan identification and engagement using the latest technology like Verified Fan – all with the end goal of putting the fans first.
