Hibakusha selected from 119 applications to play showcase gig at FortaRock
A team of experts from Buma ROCKS!, FortaRock and MOJO has been listening closely to all 119 bands that applied for the last remaining slot on the Buma ROCKS! stage at FortaRock. Finally, Hibakusha was chosen from the list. The five-piece metal band from Haarlem will perform on Saturday evening June 4 alongside Legion Of The Damned, Heidevolk and EVRA. The 119 bands applying cover all sub-genres of heavy rock, metal and punk. Compared to former editions of Buma ROCKS! the number of applications has more than doubled.
New panelists announced: Daniel P. Carter, Holger Stratmann, Nathan Barley Phillips and Saïd Al-Haddad

Next to his job as a reporter, editor and producer he is putting together metal radio show MENTAL on fmbrussel.be. Presented in three languages (FR/NL/EN), MENTAL features lots of new heavy music, with the Belgian scene as its main focus.
