Buma Music in Motion
Ambition, creativity, and connection – that’s what Buma Music in Motion stands for. The organization works to raise awareness of the importance of music in film, television, animation, games, and advertising. With international matchmaking sessions and an annual conference, BMIM has been successful in achieving this goal for over 10 years.
Panels
The BMIM Special will cover various topics. In the first panel, you will discuss the hot topic of Artificial Intelligence with Janne Spijkervet (composer and AI researcher) and John Ashley Burgoyne (Amsterdam Music Lab), among others. The second panel will address the topic of mental health, with Sam McCarthy (supervising psychosomatic therapist and Managing Producer Composer of Joris de Man) offering tips on receiving feedback, staying motivated, and taking care of oneself. After the third panel, you will have formed an opinion on the buyouts of composers. Two sides will debate whether the copyright belongs to the client or the composer.
