Les Arcs Film Festival puts spotlight on Dutch media music
The Les Arcs International Film Festival takes place from December 16 to 23 in the French Alps. This year the event focuses on the Netherlands, which means that the Dutch media music scene will be in the spotlight in several ways. In collaboration with the Nederlands Filmfonds and SEE NL, Buma Music in Motion brings the best of Dutch film music to France!
Focus on The Netherlands
Buma Music in Motion (BMIM) stands for creativity and ambition, with the main goal of connecting people in media music. This is of course also on the program at Les Arcs. The focus during Les Acs will be on the Netherlands in the following ways:
- Laura Bell, the music supervisor behind Sweet Dreams, is sharing her knowledge with director and producer Erik Glijnis (Lemming Film) during an exclusive masterclass.
- Film composers Ella van der Woude (known for Moloch and Silver Haze) and Matthijs Kieboom (known for Wolf and Van der Valk) will participate in a matchmaking session.
- To top it all off, the Amsterdam indie electronic band CUT_ by Belle Doron and Sebastiaan Dutilh will shine during the opening ceremony.

Industry Village
During Les Arcs, Industry Village is the place where international professionals and Dutch talent meet each other and have the opportunity to network. Dutch projects in development and production are once again in the spotlight. The Nederlands Filmfonds, Buma Music in Motion and SEE NL collaborated with success on the Dutch focus program.
Buma Music in Motion (BMIM)
Buma Music in Motion is committed to the creative minds in the media music scene. She does this by working together, with this collaboration for Les Arcs film festival as a good example. BMIM also organizes her own activities and other collaborations to create connections in the media music scene. Check out BMIM’s upcoming activities.
