ESNS adds 87 emerging artists to Eurosonic 2020 line-up

On 13, November 2019

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) has added 87 emerging artists to the Eurosonic line-up. Among the newly confirmed acts are Duncan Laurence (nl), Moyka (no), Blanche (be), The Homesick (nl), Lankum (ie), Johan Papaconstantino (fr), Martyn Heyne (de) and Alfie Templeman (gb). Also coming to Groningen are Cella, La Colère, Ramin & Reda, Sophie Hunger & Julian Sartorius from focus country Switzerland.

Ticket sales and public voting for the European Festival Awards 2019 opens today

On 11, November 2019

The self-registration process for the European Festival Awards main categories has closed. Next up, the public voting for the 11th edition of the European Festival Awards. It will be open from today (Monday, November 11th) until November 30th. During this period the public can vote on their favourite Festival in the five main categories.

ESNS adds new round of emerging artists to 2020 line-up

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) previously announced 87 emerging acts already. Today, another 66 acts are confirmed to play Eurosonic in Groningen. Among the newly confirmed acts are Arlo Parks (gb), Amnesia Scanner (fi), Emma Steinbakken (no), French 79 (fr), Iguana Death Cult (nl), Madmadmad (fr/gb), Sinead O’Brien (ie), Sylvie Kreusch (be) and Wurst (at).

ESNS and Playpass announce technology partnership

ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), Europe’s largest showcase of emerging music acts, has announced a partnership with PlayPass that will see a new integrated digital payment solution rolled-out across its 42 venues in the city of Groningen. All fans, delegates and artists in attendance will be able to make payments at all the official ESNS locations using their choice of an NFC wristband, a mobile wallet or any payment card.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) looks back on a successful edition

The 24th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event ( has come to end. From 16 to 20 October 2019, the largest global platform for electronic music offered over 1,000 events spread across nearly 200 locations, attracting over 400,000 visitors from a record number of nearly 150 countries. More than 9000 music industry professionals also attended the conference this year for keynotes, workshops and masterclasses on a variety of topics.
