Dolce Vita in Groningen during ESNS 2025

Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS), the platform for emerging European music talent in Groningen, has announced its collaboration for the 39th edition. Together with Italia Music Export, ESNS ensures that Italy is the focus during ESNS 2025. Every year, a focus country is chosen for the showcase festival and conference program, to showcase diversity.

Italy is the focus country of ESNS 2025

ESNS will take place in 2025 from January 15 to 18. For four days, the far north of the Netherlands will again be dominated by upcoming and especially promising pop musicians. ESNS aims to provide a platform for European talent to blur imaginary boundaries. Collaboration with another European country contributes to this. This makes the diversity of musical talent throughout Europe even more visible and increases their chance of breaking through. In 2025, Italian artists will be put in the spotlight! Poland was the focus country of ESNS 2024.

Italia Music Export

This year, Italia Music Export is the partner to realize this focus. This collaboration provides a stage – literally and figuratively – for Italy’s latest music acts to an audience of music industry professionals, music media and music lovers. ESNS and Italia Music Export are looking forward to the collaboration:

No stranger to ESNS

Italy is no stranger to ESNS. Italian acts such as Joycut, Lorenzo Senni, Meduza, Sans Soucis and The Bloody Beetroots have previously played at ESNS. In 2024, artists such as Colombre, Daniela Pes, Elasi, Laura Masotto, Leatherette, Marta del Grandi, Parbleu, and Psyché took the Eurosonic stage.
