These are the winners of Buma NL Awards 2024
Buma NL is a day dedicated to Dutch music. During the day, there is an interesting conference and in the evening an amazing award show, named Buma NL Awards. This year, Donnie is known as the ‘glutton’ of the Buma NL Awards 2024. Presenter Kees Tol presented no fewer than three awards to Donnie, both as an author and as a performing artist. The Top 10 Most Successful Single of 2024 was also announced. Other writers and artists also received awards in various categories.
Donnie and the Buma NL Awards 2024
Donnie took first place together with Marco Schuitmaker with Hier mag alles, which he wrote together with Léon Paul Palmen and Dennis Foekens. With the same writers, he was number 2 on the list witht the single Schultenbrau which he performed with Chantal Janzen. Finally, Donnie is co-author of GAP at number 9, which was performed by Wesly Bronkhorst and Bizzey.
Top 3 Buma NL Awards 2024
In addition to Donnie, the Top 3 of the Buma NL Awards 2024 consisted of Tino Martin & Mart Hoogkramer, with the single Hartslag van de stad. They also received the Most Successful Pub Hit award in collaboration with Xenox. An award was also presented to Manfred Jongelenis for Best Producer. And Emile Hartkmamp received the award for Dutch Master. Bob Vos & Robby Langendorff took home the Industry Award.

About Buma NL Awards
The Buma NL Awards are based on data from GfK, Soundaware and the Dutch Top 40 Foundation. Based on a quantitative analysis of sales figures (tracks and albums) and airplay figures (tracks) over the period from May 1, 2023 to April 30. The presentation of the awards, presented by Kees Tol, is part of the annual Buma NL event. In addition to the award show, Poppodium 013 also hosted the conference with interactive panels, discussions, master classes and showcases. The presentation of the conference was in the hands of Merel Westrik. Buma NL is a joint initiative of Buma Cultuur and BumaStemra. It has grown into a professional centre for everyone who works for and with the Dutch-language repertoire.
