These are the winners of the Music in Media Awards (MIMAs) 2026
This evening, over 200 invited guests in Amsterdam witnessed composers receiving a Music in Media Award. From the 12 categories, the professional jury selected a winner. With this award show, Buma Music in Motion honors the best music in film, television, radio, documentary, advertising, and other media. The lifetime achievement award went this year to composer Vincent van Warmerdam.
Lifetime Achievement Award for Vincent van Warmerdam
Vincent van Warmerdam went home with the lifetime achievement award in honor of his impressive and versatile contribution to the Dutch film and music world.

Not only the submissions, but also the evening underscored the high level of the work and the increasing influence of music on modern media productions.
