Successful 14th edition of inJazz – the online edition

This year’s alternative edition of inJazz was a great success! With over 300 international attendees for the conference, ‘sold out’ panel sessions, the announcement of the Buma Boy Edgar Prize 2020 and innumerable viewers of our festival livestream and pre-recorded videos. Normally, inJazz – an initiative of Buma – is the start of two weeks of jazz in Rotterdam followed by North Sea Round Town and NN North Sea Jazz Festival.

Highlights inJazz 2020: online conference and festival on 25 & 26 June

The first ever online edition of inJazz takes place on 25 and 26 June. Holland’s biggest jazz showcase and network event uses an online tool for the conference. Over 200 international jazz professionals have registered so far. The festival will be broadcast live from the inJazz studio’s at LantarenVenster and BIMHUIS with an amazing line-up of Dutch musicians. inJazz, initiative of Buma, transforms the city of Rotterdam into the European capital of jazz and beyond. This year, of course, things are different than what we’re used to. Uncertain times call for vigorous focus

Traditionally, ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) is the kick-off of the year for music lovers and professionals from departments of the music industry; to discover new talent and to talk about the developments in European music. In any case, the 35th edition of the ESNS festival and conference (January 13 – 16, 2021) will be in a different light due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
