ESNS promises to be a true spectacle again in 2025. Frenna and S10, among others, were the first acts announced. They will play at the annual four-day showcase festival, called Noorderslag. Don’t miss out, because from now on you can get your ticket!

Eurosonic Noorderslag 2025

ESNS stands for Eurosonic Noorderslag. It’s thé platform for emerging European music talent. For four days, Groningen will be all about music, for both music lovers and music professionals. Eurosonic is the conference part. And Noorderslag the festival part. This edition marks the 39th time that European talent will be settling in the far North to show themselves from their best side. All types of tickets are available since today. The passe-partouts, attractively priced ‘ESNS Young’ tickets and day tickets for Noorderslag, among others. Get the ticket that suits you best, and we hope to see you in January!

Line-up ESNS 2025

ESNS previously announced forty European artists for Eurosonic 2025, including the Dutch band Personal Trainer. These are the first acts that are announced for Noorderslag 2025:

Both the Eurosonic and Noorderslag line-ups automatically participate in the European Talent Exchange program. This increases their chances of being booked at major European music festivals after the showcase festival. The Popprijs will also be awarded during Noorderslag.

Innovative financial choices

ESNS also feels the financial pressure in the cultural sector. In order to deliver a strong edition, as it does every year, the organization remains true to its goal: offering a platform for innovative, diverse European music talent. This makes ESNS stronger and more relevant, and remains a future-proof showcase festival for Europe.

ESNS moves to De Oosterpoort on Wednesday

On Wednesday the program starts earlier than in previous years. This gives visitors and Delegates pass holders a greater chance of discovering new talent. De Oosterpoort is also the ideal environment for networking, with various food and drink options you can enjoy yourself all day long.

The city centre of Groningen is being used optimally this year

ESNS will add more locations in and around the city centre of Groningen this year. More locations means more stages. Which equals even more European music talents to discover!

Traditions are here to stay

Pop music from the Netherlands traditionally remains the main focus on the Saturday of ESNS. The improvements implemented in 2024 will be continued in 2025. With these and the above innovations, ESNS remains true to its core values.

But that is precisely why we have had to think carefully about how we can make even better use of Groningen, as the home base of ESNS. With new locations and a special focus on Thursdays and Fridays, we are once again putting Groningen on the map. About Eurosonic Noorderslag

ESNS was founded in Groningen in 1986. This means that ESNS 2025 is already the 39th edition. From January 15 to 18, 2025, there will be plenty to do for both music fanatics and professionals in and from the music world. During the day, 4,000 international music professionals are in the Oosterpoort for the ESNS Conference. There you will meet important people from the scene and create opportunities for yourself as a European artist.
